This offer is designed for elementary-age readers, typically grades K–3. If you’re unsure whether it’s a good fit for your child, feel free to reach out before booking.
Is this a full reading curriculum?
No. This is a personalized assessment and 4 week plan designed to work with whatever curriculum you’re already using. The goal is clarity and focus—not starting over.
How does the online assessment work?
Your child will meet with me online in a relaxed, supportive setting. I’ll listen to them read and assess fluency, accuracy, and confidence. Many children feel more at ease online than in person.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
That’s very common. I approach assessments gently and at your child’s pace. This is not a test they can “fail”—it’s simply a way to understand how they read best.
Will I need to purchase new curriculum?
In most cases, no. The goal of this assessment and plan is to help you use what you already have more effectively. If I believe an alternative resource would better support your child’s reading, I may suggest free or low-cost options—but any recommendations are always optional and made with simplicity and sustainability in mind.
Will I need to sit with my child during the assessment?
You’re welcome to be nearby if that helps your child feel comfortable, but it’s not required. We’ll do what works best for your family.
What if I want to teach my child myself?
That’s completely fine. Your 4 week plan can be designed for parent-led, shoulder-to-shoulder learning or for a more independent learner. You’ll choose your preference in the intake form.
What if my child is already in an online program or tutoring?
This plan can complement outside support. It’s meant to give you clarity on what to focus on at home and how to support your child’s reading more intentionally.
Does this include a consultation?
Yes. You’ll receive a brief consultation to walk through the plan together so you know exactly how to use it with confidence.
